The new Explore Service Reporting is an integrated management interface that is freely available to Explore-clients. Thanks to the user-friendly dashboard, at a single glance you can keep an eye on the various parts of your network infrastructure and the services that run on them.

From now on, in addition to the traditional reports on the performance of the Explore-network, Explore Service Reporting will include ICT-reports: LAN-reports, IP-telephony reports, data security reports… you can consult all of these reports through an online interface. Thanks to the statistical information about your network infrastructure and your ICT-resources, your network managers will be able to optimize the business applications for the end users. This means that you save money at the same time as gaining an indispensable tool for monitoring and planning your ICT-infrastructure.

Dashboard

The online dashboard offers you a centralized overview of all the reports so that you can quickly draw your conclusions. In addition to online help, a visual color code indicates which settings need to be checked. Thanks to the intelligent interface the reports are instantly ranked in order of priority. That is a major advantage when you have to manage a complex network infrastructure.

Additional reporting

As a basis, Explore Service Reporting offers all reports about the services that are provided by Explore. You can check the operational performance of Belgacom, you can also order additional reports that are automatically added to the Explore Service Reporting. With ‘enhanced reporting’ you can - for those sites connected to Explore - keep an eye on the availability level, the bandwidth consumption and the burden on the Explore-router. Based on this data, you can then evaluate whether your network infrastructure is the right scale. You can also instantly optimize it where necessary.

Application Performance Reporting

A more targeted analysis is possible with ‘Application Performance Reporting’. Most of the applications used in your network are included in this. When your network is too heavily burdened, you can check what share of the bandwidth is used for each application. In this way, you can assign a lower priority to certain protocols or you can stop the traffic via the firewall. Your network infrastructure is then deployed optimally so that you do not have to invest in extra bandwidth. Moreover, it allows your staff to work more efficiently.

Security Reporting

Thanks to Security Reporting, you can monitor the performance of your data security solutions, hosted on the Explore-network or installed at your location. With Explore Secured Internet Service you can check the availability of your Internet access, you receive a classification of the most used protocols and - if you opted for the URL filtering-service - a list of the URLs most frequently requested by your staff. In this way you can optimize the use of your Internet access. Finally, the service Secure Mail from Explore gives information on the number of blocked e-mails - for example because of spam or viruses - and the percentage of e-mails that get delivered.

Device Reporting

With Device Reporting you can check the proper functioning of your IT-devices: firewalls, IP-telephony switchboard, LAN-switches, servers… for each element you receive information on availability, bandwidth use and the burden.
