Belgacom named the new complete packages for SMEs ‘Private Cloud Bundles’. They encompass a combination of hardware servers, data storage, virtualization software, operating systems, applications and management services. In this way, small and medium-sized companies have access to complete IT-infrastructure on which they can run the critical business applications. This infrastructure is ‘private’, in contrast to the ‘public cloud’-solutions that Belgacom also offers. In this way, clients can choose for themselves which elements they prefer to keep in their own hands, and which they would like to outsource (thus benefiting from the advantages of a large-scale service provider).
