The second edition of the Health Innovation Forum was a resounding success. The Belgacom Group and its technology partners thank you for the trust you placed in them this year, as in the past. On 17 September, some 400 participants attended the event. The whole healthcare sector was represented, from general practitioners to IT experts, which resulted in many constructive exchanges. The theme of the Forum was “Technology and innovation at the service of the healthcare sector”, an all-out program developed during the conference “e-Health, soon a reality in Belgium?”, where various leading health experts presented their views and vision. Six workshops were also held on current issues, presenting the best practices in Belgium and abroad: videoconferencing, medical filing, telemedicine, telephony, the wireless IT network and the health network.
