Belgacom will be housing all activities related to the cloud in a new department: ‘BeCloud’. This department will be in charge of the complete cloud-solutions process, from ordering to billing. Belgacom sees cloud applications as a key driver of growth in IT. Both hardware and software as well as services will be undergoing a major transformation in the coming years, thanks to the cloud. The next generation of IT managers wants to see a single click grant access, any time, anywhere, to intuitive applications which are also well connected with social networks.
